With the (coloured dots) paper, I've cut it to 12" x 10" then turned up 3 1/2" at the bottom (10" side) and then turned down roughly a 1/2" back over on this 3 1/2" turn up.
I've lightly distressed the edges of this piece and then glued some crumpled tissue paper on the back in strips around the ege of this to make a frill and inked the tissue paper by just running the inkpad over the top to pick up the crumples.
I then stitched this to the background piece right around the edge and then at 3 1/4" intervals (2 of) to form the pockets for the tags.
I've cut the journalling tags down a bit, added some scraps of lace/ribbon to the top, stamped some lines on them and added more stickers from the sticker sheet. Then matted them onto a slightly bigger piece of white cardstock.
I've added my photos and then just added more stickers (tree and sun) and some Basic Grey obscure buttons to the tree. I've done lots of scratchy doodling over the sticker and around the page and I must add that the pen I used took a while to dry on the smooth surface of the stickers so you need to be a little careful.....it does dry though. I've cut up one of the border length stickers to form part of my doodled border.
