And now after all these years - cant get Hannah out of bed!! Dont see her till lunchtime on weekends!!
I saw a TV program once that talked about the development of the human brain and in particular the teenage years and they mentioned that it is part of their natural development to want to stay up late and sleep late. But I am not telling them about that...
oh id love sleep ins Mandy, my 3 all up before 7 this morning,. though thats the norm around here!!!!
raining again here, i know im not suppose to say it being on the farm but i am a little over the rain , i wasnt ready to leave the beautiful weather from Brrome behind, the roads are terrible here at the moment, lucky i only have 5kms of gravel and the reat is bitumen to town but that 5kms is enough.
kids are out movign sheep witht heir dad so i am tryign my hardest to egt the monthly sketch done, better go before i run out of time!!
We have two children - Robert was the most horrid child ever up to the age of 10, I now consider myself so blessed to have such an amazing 17year old. Tara on the other hand was a doll up until she got hormonal and it has been hard ever since! I love her to death by every time I think life is settling down something else happens. I think do the hard yards when they are young and hope for the angel stage to kick in in the teenage years.
Yeah they often say that boy can be easier as teens.
I find my middle child DD who is now 17, the most challenging in terms of moods and so forth, she is really lovely at times but can be very temperamental, and she has been like this since about age 6 so I am not sure she will ever change! ...just hope that she changes once she matures.

LOL - I've seen something on sleep and teens too. And I'm a great believer in - if they need sleep - let them! (other than school mornings of course )
(and the house is mine on weekend mornings - ooh I love it! Bit of an ulterior motive )
Weeeeell, Ceci - my middle one is my easiest - but my worst toddler!
My youngest is 'pretty good' - just has 'moments' but she bounces back so smiling quickly - while the rest of us are still gettting over her!!!
My eldest... got 'too hard' at end of year 10, so I packed her up and sent her to boarding school for yrs 11 and 12 (best thing ever!) so the other two know that its no iddle threat in our house
