Been a nice day today. Manged to do food shopping and pick up something that Asher wanted to get with her birthday money. A Moshie monster ds game. She has been on it for most of the afternoon. One more Christmas present to get and then I am all done bar the wrapping.

I am in from a long day at work made even longer by doing shopping after wards. Shopping all put away and there are just a few things I need to get that I couldn't tonight so will be making an early mad dash out in the morning.
have woken up this morning with the sudden realisation that we don't have enough chairs for twenty-something people for lunch tomorrow! We've had so many parties this year, that 25 seemed a cinch, not requiring all that much arranging. Better go through the list!
Well my Christmas is over We had an early celebration combined with James birthday since DH is working over Christmas. Probably a good thing, as I think I may have broken one of my toes this morning, so I can't walk
Still too wet to venture out but managed a spot of shopping earlier today without being crushed in the crowds!
Looking forward to Christmas with family tomorrow - sneaked a peek at some photos the other girls posted online and the kids are on track to be spoilt again! (Kay's Mother is Norwegian so they celebrate Christmas Eve then back up to celebrate with the rest of us tomorrow!).

Anyone want to swap places with me for a few hours. Missy went snooping and found the presents that Craig had brought for her and has come to the realization that Santa isn't real and is totally devastated and having a major meltdown.

OOOH NOOOOOOOOOOO!
but .... hmmmn............then why would she snoop in the first place? Maybe she had an inkling? And then the realisation really hit?
Its sad when they stop believing. sigh. we dont have anyone around us young enough. Everyone has grown up.
We've been out to lunch today and I came home and had a big sleep, then watched 'Gone with the Wind' on tellie LOL! and now need to organise myself for having such a lazy afternoon!

Missy settled down after a little while and she was still very excited about it all and made sure she put out the treats for santa and the reindeer still. Pressies and all under the tree, breakie table is all set and I am of to bed as you can bet on it that Missy will be up early tomorrow.
What a shame Julie - my parents still maintain they have NEVER told me that Santa isn't real (and I'm 26!). But being one of the youngest kids in the neighbourhood, I heard whispers pretty early on. There was one rule in our house - "If you don't believe, you won't receive", so I was putting out fruit mince pies and a light beer for Santa until I was at least 16
