We'd dearly love to come to Cairns Lee-Anne!! Maybe we can make some long term plans eh julie to see if we can manage it together??

I've got Melbourne at Easter (for work) and then overseas a few weeks after that so thats the the first half of this year tied up... it wont be anytime soon Lee-Anne mores the pity. Cairns still remains our favourite part of aust!!! We miss it, especially Hannah and Paige.

Julia, I dont even want to think about the school year starting .... I loathe getting back into routine - I LOVE being out of routine and no committments!! Yes January is going tooooo fast!

I agree that January has gone way to fast  I had a whole month off work and nothing has been done (well one book read and only one layout done).
Work on Monday for 2 weeks full-time and then I go back to my 2 days a week.

Going back up to NTH QLD is def on my plans. Maybe will work on that one for next year I think.

Have been up visiting a friend and then out for dinner tonight with other friends and with a day of shopping sorted for tomorrow it is going to be a busy weekend.

Heya back at ya girlie!!!!

Did my very big( won't do so big again) December Daily..only one page that needs completing..phew.Will do a different size etc this year.Am happy with it though( thanks Lee-Anne) we did a lot last December.
Can you believe we are into Feb nearly, school going back which means back to work for me after 6 wonderful, weeks off.

Will be losing a lot of hours this year, about 10 a week, due to low numbers.Just hoping we can get up to 21, so we can keep half a teacher for the lower grade. We have a new principal for this year, and she will be a teaching principal...so very big year for her.
I had to say goodbye to my teacher whom I have worked with for the past 18 months yesterday, we have become good friends( Lee-Anne you and Danny met her last year when I brought them down to the shop). We will be in contact though, and she is still going to scrap, which is good for her, as she lost her mum late in December.

Anyhow, onwards and upwards...trying to look towards this coming year positively.

How was everyones Australia Day today?
We had friends over , about 15 of us, for a BBQ and pool comps, while the kids hit the water slide in the back yard

BBQ for us for tea - after a nana nap lol!
A very relaxing day.... the girls did pick the greengages off the tree, they were ripe and the birds were getting at them. They are yummy stewed with icecream!

hmmn, I know what you mean with the size of your Dec daily - lol, I learn something new each year about what I'll do and wont do again. I know I need to go a different colour next christmas... I realised I've been reverting to the same colours every single time

Good luck Mel with returning to school and hopefully things will look up once things get going again.

I cant believe how quickly the holidays have come and gone.... and love every minute of it. sign... soon we will all be back in routine and back at it.

One thing though... I'll be glad to get back into scrapping here - Lee-Anne mustnt be far from being 'back'!!!

:P :P :P
