I've got to say my only experiences so far with centerlink have been pretty good. I got sent a weird letter, and they were really quick to explain it and fix it up :) I am sure that this will probably be my one and only good experience with them.

I've got some nappies to finish today and a sling chair to make, if I ever get a shower that is!!

I get a "me" day today my Nonna is coming to get Cody and take him to Mareeba to the Farm (even though I'm at work it just means I can actually hear myself think instead of the constant "Mumma I want..."

I haven't had too much problem with Centrelink either - but then, I haven't had to deal with them too much either. Did have one major problem years ago when DH's business was very quiet for six months & I was a stay-at-home mum with three little kids - so I'd estimated the income on how it looked at the time, then it suddenly jumped when he got a couple of major orders! I let them know & they sent me a big bill for everything they'd paid up until then... rang them, explained the situation, no problem, bill was cancelled, and all was good again!

Today, I'm off to work again, leaving DD#3 home again with her Dad - throat infection has been diagnosed by the doctor, not tonsilitis, so I guess that's good at least. She's starting to feel better now she's had a few doses of antibiotics. :)

Hi everyone.

Not much news except for having bursitis which is some sort of shoulder inflammation, so the physio told me to not sit at the computer, or do housework...at least I have obeyed the second instruction.

DD Rebecca was a very sick girl this morning, turned out she has acute tonsillitis, possibly strep throat...but after two lots of penicillin and 2 lots of aspirin this afternoon she is feeling a bit better. :D

 Ceci it is nice to see that you are sort of listening to your doctor. Hope your shoulder gets better and that your DD does too.

Feeling a bit blah at the moment. I so hate being cold.

Not used to it being this cold here! Have so many layers on at the moment, I can barely move LOL!

Hope your shoulder gets better soon Ceci, and your daughter too. My youngest should be heading back to school tomorrow after having the last three days off with a throat infection - so glad the antibiotics have kicked in and she's feeling better now.

My eldest daughter is very happy tonight - she's been recommended for all the subjects that she wants to do for year 11 next year - all extension subjects - along with the compulsory english & religion (it being a Catholic school), she's doing maths, physics, chemistry & human biology - she wants to be a doctor, so I reckon she's on the right track for that!

Time to get into the kitchen & warm up again I think!

Thanks everyone...I am hoping Rebecca will have a better night tonight.

Pepper well done to your DD! She must be such a brainy one to be doing all those subjects.

Sure has turned cold here too. I thought it would after hearing about all the snow down south.
