Argh, i've been trying to get hold of Meaghan last night and earlier this morning in London and cant get her by phone or email. Very worried about these riots. She lives near the area of Tottenham north of London,
Anyway....... have to wait till tonight to see if I can get hold of her again.... frustrating.

I saw that on tv, Mandy. I'm sure your girl will be ok but it is a worry.

Meaghan just rang (so relieved - its 5.30am)... she's been sent up to Grimsby till Thurs (way way away in one of the major fishing ports up on the north east coast) phew..
Otherwise... she said hopefully it will settle down by the time she gets back, cos from where she lives, she has to go through tottemham train stations to get to work.

What terrible times in many ways....including the riots and the economy. Just shaking my head at it all.
Feeling quite exhausted this morning...DH was snoring all night due to some allergy that flares up when he gardens, so I got no sleep!
If you didn't read on FB, my DD Rebecca cut her finger open with a knife filleting a fish at school in Hospitality. Ended up having to get 5 stitches. I thought I would faint when the doctor was putting the needle in to numb it, right into the cut... Rebecca was trying to be brave but that did make her cry.
So it has been much busier for me last night and this morning having to help Rebecca with dressing etc...but at least she went to school with a sling on.
