Congratulations to Rob! For us, formal and after party last night, now on to graduation tomorrow and we're pretty much done. An amended version of schoolies happening around the suburb, so could still be a late night or two in it.

Rob, bless him - has absolutely no desire to participate in schoolies - his girl is off for a girls only week away camping and Rob is happy to chill and stay put - honestly I think he is looking forward to a week of unrestricted internet access and gaming - computer nerds - at least you know they are not out on the streets misbehaving

Has been an ok day today after another mess up with center link this morning. Have managed to do food shop, some washing and have got dinner in the slow cooker. Tonight I am planning on pulling my finger out and getting some cards sorted to take down to work to sell.

My friends and I enjoyed a "modified" version of schoolies too - we stayed at home but caught the train down to the gold coast every day for 6 days and did all the theme parks. Our parents were so stoked we decided not to get accomodation down there, they paid for all our tickets and gave us spending money :-D

Thanks - I've been kind of pleased they weren't organised enough to get accommodation sorted and so have left it. I'd really like it if it they were somehow getting to take on responsibility for themselves for the week though - it's all a bit laid on when Dad's at home, retired and happy to have them around cause it's such a nice bunch of kids. Can't complain about it too much :)

We did it in the late 70s! A bunch of us went to the beach and shared a caravan - kept the other park residents highly amused all week I think, including setting fire to a frypan of food on the stove, and hoiking it out the door  Every photo I have from that week is blurred!

That's soooo funny Helen - I'd still scrap those photos - they just might need some journalling :-)

That's basically why we didn't go either - most of the other students were booking accom back in February as soon as school started back, but we had so many people fall out and then become friends again throughout the year it could have been disasterous if we put everyone in a room!

yes, there is that as well - at that age there's always a bit of movement between groups.

Well, hoping to get some relaxing papercrafting in this weekend - photos of elder DS 21st party to scrap, an awards night, a formal and graduation!!!!!!!!!! And that's two weeks of our year.
