hee hee Lee-Anne, I lived and learned ( with a few bumps along the way! LOL) Now its just same run of the mill, everyone knows what to expect (other than the first time families- and thats okay- but I give out a LOT of notices which is a big help) It takes a mammoth amount of time and effort and organisation for each concert to get through...I dont sleep and by the time we bump out of the theatre - sets/costumes/etc etc are dumped back at the studio on the floor, take the costumes that need washing and I shut the door and dont go back in until february! Its all over by the evening of the 3rd of Dec and the 4th - I'll sleep! (very big smile) In one way getting into the theatre is all too close as we still have so much to do, and in another way - it cant come soon enough!
Yeah, seems a bit confusing for you Belinda... and it is a learnin curve LOL! But you are so proud and the girls achieved so much - thats what its all about!! ANd look at those special photos!

LOL - I've never had a break! not since I was four years old! My very first concert - I was a 'gloworm' - and none too pleased about being on the stage either! I remember telling my mother I didnt want to do it! Oh and I didnt even know what a gloworm was!
So you didnt think at 4 you would be were you are now? sounds like you do am amazing job Mandy!! And good on you too Deb, i have neevr done dancing.
our dance instructor does an amzing job too, hope i didnt sound like i was at all being negative towards her and her hard work as it wasnt my intention, i just knew you would be able to tell my the in and outs Mandy as to how these things usually work . can see so much work goes into these things, i am astounded actually!!! 28 items yesterday and the costumes WOW!!!
And now i will be better prepared for next year !!

oh not at all sounded negative Belinda... youre learning and I'm sure I have first time mum's the same!
Yep your teacher needs a pat on the back it is a big job.
Nope never thought I would be doing what I'm doing back then... I dont even think I danced in the first classes I was taken too - sooked in the corner!
I was taken to my first class when I was almost three - but sooking so much my mum (a dancer herself)thought she should wait awhile - I was a reluctant dancer in the early days hee hee!
should dig out a photo- I look rather funny - and glum - Mum took a pic of me all dressed to go to class (she was so happy in anticipation!) - pity I didnt take to it... but I've got the pics ... and the little black ballet slippers! (black! who'd put black on little girls feet!!! )
I'd better scadaddle - or else I'll have some waiting for me at the studio doors!!!
Well only managed 6 hours sleep last night and still survived a training session this morning followed by a full day at work. Fingers crossed I'm on the mend! Looking forward to the blind scrap on Wednesday - I'm hoping to have a friend over to do it with me. May need to clear a spot off the dining room table though - those Christmas cards have kind of taken over my dining room...
Great pics Belinda, cant wait to see them scrapped:)
Well after a busy weekend here at home, I sort of felt I didnt even get to rest, never mind, here's to this weekend lol!!
Another week and back to school, poor kidlets are feeling tied and over it and I have to agree, these last couple of weeks for them are going to be testing. I am currently working on two brag books for teachers for end of year surprise. Finished one just need to get a few more things completed for the second one. Will take a pic and upload later.
Anyhow lovely ladies, Im off to start my zumba and get those lunches ready, hope your all enjoy your Tuesday, until we chat again, take care of yourselves and each other;)
Eeek I can't believe how much I've missed. I really need to start scrapping more
I did just drop in with some great news, I applied for a new job earlier this month and I just found out today I got it So instead of Teaching I'll be an intern psychologist again, specialising in perinatal depression I'm very excited, I've wanted this position for a couple of years now. Just need to wait until January to start.
