Very belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Years
Have DS and his GF on holidays from Qld so been spending lots of time with them. Only a few days left until they leave
We had a fabulous Christmas day, got dressed in Christmas t-shirt and hat when we went for morning walk (dressed doggy up too), then had lazy time opening presents, too so long in the morning we didn't have lunch till 2pm. NYE had party at our place (everyone invited turned up) and we had blackout in our area that started just before party guests arrived and power didn't come on until just before 11. Thank goodness it was a BBQ and we had lots of candles (DH cooked BBQ by torchlight). Last guest left after 1pm

Hey everyone - we found the edge of the world and have climbed back on - hope everyone had a great christmas and new year - we did not realise just how internet free our last two weeks of holidays were going to be - it took me a few days to learn to cope but it has been a great break, but if anyone needs anything we are now back in touch with the world and should be able to respond to PM's or e-mails etc - off to Utah in a couple of days
