Love the Paris photos Christine - cant want for your next visit to the crop room for an up close and personal look looks like you had a fantastic holiday - you should come down when she does Ant so you can hear all about her adventures in person

If it's on a Sunday and it's not raining (I don't drive in the rain anymore after my little accident) I may take you up on that offer!!!

Home again - luggage got damaged on the way back. Reading the fine print of the insurance paperwork - I don't think I"ll be able to put in a claim. Not happy - it was brand new. Time to do some laundry, and some grocery shopping, then catching up with a couple of friends and some housework before heading back to work on Monday. I'll pop down to visit after the next pay Lee-Anne - I really need to sort out and designate a scrappy place at home before I buy any more goodies - I'll let you know Ant if you like :-)

Thats a bummer with your luggage CHristine, hopefully you'll be able to claim and it goes smoothly enough, though...how annoying!!
Welcome home :P Have you got your scrapping space organised?

Today we found the house we love... whether we get it or not, that will depend on us finishing off our house and getting it on the market AND it selling! This other house just needs new flooring throughout and a new kitchen which will be done before we move in.... so fingers crossed it all goes well. Hee hee, its just around the corner from where we live now... not the view we've been used to which is a bit of a shame, and its smaller - but thats a good thing  Its the same era, so I guess I warmed to it straight away! :P
Just got to see how things pan out now

oh good luck Mandy - can you sign a contract on it subject to the sale of your home - you can here in Qld but I know property law is different in each state, it will only hold the house for a month or so however at least you would be in with a chance

Yeah we can, I think we can do at least two months. Dh and I will chatter over the weekend about the price to offer. I know the sellers are keen to sell - so thats a plus!

At the moment Hannah is agonising whats going and whats not going back into her room. We've got a storage unit so she's more appeased for it to go into a plastic tub (with lid) to go there, than it being given to vinnies etc. Some of it might get 'lost' though before it turns up in her hands again! I've got to be 'resourceful' I think
Paige is much better at 'chucking'! LOL

Congrats on finding a house Mandy!

I read through the travel insurance info as well as the product guarentee on my luggage - it looks like I should have hit someone up for documentation at the airport this morning. Not something I thought of at 5.30am. Luckily it wasn't very expensive (I picked it up on sale) but I think next time I buy a new suitcase, I'll pay extra for a hard-style one.

Sounds like we need to organise a visit to Babinda girls - do you want to plan a day in the crop room? I'm sure a Sunday will be ok if we organise it will Lee-Anne ahead of time. My work hours have changed and I'll be working Saturdays again. I'm ok with that because it means I'm another step closer to being full time (the extra money will be great!!!) and I will have a couple of afternoons off during the week as well. Would June 3rd suit you both Sarah and Ant? (And anyone else in the neighbourhood that would like to join us?).

Sounds great Sarah! How about you Ant? Will the 3rd work? We should probably check with Lee-Anne to see if the crop room is free that day too :-D
