Felt a little guilty after Missy went to bed and quickly did up the table with the bits and pieces I made up last year and rather than going out and hiding the eggs in the garden I hid them inside in among all the packing boxes. Little Missy wanted to get up at 5.00 and I managed to stretch her out till 6.30.
No flash easter table here but had both my dds and the BF and his baby. Hot breaky and great company, there is nothing more I needed. Happy Easter everyone.
I don't do eggs or anything flash here either. I guess that's because I think of Easter as a Northern Hemisphere thing as they are celebrating Spring over there.
In saying that...I'm always up to photos!
It's a lovely day here...can't decide whether to do something outdoors and enjoy the sun or something indoors...I think outdoors is winning though!
have a great day!

Oooooooooooooh! Well I just had a family Easter brekky here. They've all gone now and the cleaning up is done. Will have to get the photos off my camera. I did buy some things to decorate our table but ended up spreading it out over 2 tables (a big persons one and one for the little people) .

Weeeell, we had a blast!! I just used a white tablecloth...and had a bit of gingham that I just pressed the raw edges under and popped it in the middle. Put a white hat box in the middle (painted one a coupla easters ago so just put green trim around it and a bow) and the rest did itself really! We always do an egghunt - so this time on front veranda and in the front part of the garden and got some fab photos... lots of chatter and laughs around the table and then DOWN came the rain!! So lucky we got our pics before that happened!! and now dh and girls are playing the Wii and I'm on my computer! I've put pics up on my blog... http://teacupofscrapisms.blogspot.com.a ... aster.html
Oooh sounds fabby Deb, cant wait to see you pics!!!! So glad you did something for Asher Julie!
Happy Easter all the ladies here!! No matter what you are doing today... have a very fun one!! hugs..
The big people's table. I did some name tags up with little spotty pegs (yes I've put them into my scrappy stash now)
a bit closer pic of the centre - not the greatest pic though, I'm always in a hurry to take the photos. Just tied a tulle bow and put some daisies amongst it and a spotty wooden bunny that I bought on a crocheted table runner. AND yes that is a plastic table cloth
and a table for the little people. This photo will be scrapped for sure coz this was my little table from a hundred years ago A friend of my Dad's made it for me along with 4 little chairs which are now long gone. I gave it a lick of white paint and add some stickons to the legs and the kids loved it.
Mandy, I don't think I would ever have done an Easter brekky table if it wasn't for your inspiration each year. I was determined last year, after seeing yours, that I was gonna do it this year.
We had an egg hunt here too. The older ones were back looking in the garden for some eggs but missy here walked straight passed the eggs and the excitement coz she spotted the cat under her favourite tree. The branches hang right down and the cat feels a bit secure I guess. Not for long though.
Matty got up at 4.15 this morning ready to start the Easter egg hunt ! We managed to hold him off until about 6 when Rachel woke up but I know he did find a sneaky one & ate it about 4.30am.
Sounds like everyone has had a lovely day! Family time for me which was special because I don't get to see them as often as I used to. My cousins' kids are all under the age of 7 - their enthusiasm is infectious!
Managed to get a few photos that will be scrapped at some stage but I'm just not sure when!
