That's so sweet - have a great time! The weather is pretty ick over here so I've spent the day curled up in the apartment with Michelle. We did venture out briefly this morning and I managed to get my hands on some French scrapbooking magazines to browse through. It's nice to look at different layouts and ideas, but they've got nothing on us girls ;-)

boohoo... I'm painting again today. paint splatter over my hands and face... and in my hair! uck!
Anyway so glad you are having a wonderful time Lee-Anne. I bet Tara was very surprised when you walked through the door!

We rang Meaghan last night for her birthday (it was her birthday morning in London) and she was planning a night out with the girls so thats nice.

The suns shining here so better get the washing on the line while it lasts.
and better get back to painting. Wish I was having a day of scrapping! :|

Well it's baking day for me - macarons and french desserts today, and baking class (breads and pastries) tomorrow! I'm quite looking forward to it - hoping to pick up some recipes and techniques that I can duplicate back home! Starting to wish I had asked for afternoon classes only though - I nearly had a heart attack when my alarm clock went off earlier!

Tomorrow is a public holiday - labor day - from what I can make of it, there's a parade down the main street and you can buy lillies from street sellers to give to friends and family for good luck. I'm not sure what time the parade is (I may miss it because I'll be in another part of town) but I'm hoping to get some pics of the festivities!

Oh Vicki - I am sorry we werent there - see you Wednesday

Had an absolute blast today - the teacher is a riot and I'll have the same one tomorrow. The desserts today weren't technically difficult but we each learnt a few things and there are countless variations so we can remake the same recipes at home.

The weather has picked up somewhat since yesterday - I hope it continues to warm and that we get a few more days of sunshine!
