Morning all.

What are your plans for today and this week?

Today I am hoping to catch up with a couple of friends for a chat, a scrap and some mega hugs. I so need them right now.

As for the week ahead it is just going to be one day at a time out here for me and it will be for a while.

Well I'm supposed to be doing housework but I've managed to find time to put a batch of shortbread in the oven (I got a little but excited yesterday when I found some butter at Coles that resembles what we were using in France). I know, I need a life :-)

Taking it day by day is a great idea Julie - try not to get too overwhelmed, and have a great day with your friends.

Good luck with the painting Mandy!

mmm - real shortbread, oh that is fire you are playing with there - I would not be able to stop myself eating it.

We had a buzzing busy day today - 8 peoples in the crop room and plenty of customers keeping us on our toes in between, snuck out to see the Avengers tonight and are off to do the tourist thing with a young American friend who is working in town at the moment - she has come to a few of our Thursday night crops and put together a great little otp to take home for her Mum - we thought is was a good excuse to actually take a day off and show her around a little before she heads home :)

I froze half of the dough Lee-Anne and am taking the rest into work today (so that I know I haven't eaten it all myself!).

Hi girls, 8)
I am back on the net, we finally got the internet connected last night after 4 weeks. Also settled into our new house, & the boys started at their new school today, so has been full on.

Actually did a layout yesterday for the first time in ages! :D But my digital cam has died, so been taking photos with my mobile, just got to figure out how to upload them

Haven't been able to do much this month and so many lovely challenges. Being really distressed about my mom back in South Africa. She had a minor stroke on Mothers Day, but at her age of 86, even a small stroke is serious. Her recovery is going to be long and she is up and down on a daily basis. So it is waiting game at the moment and really sad for me as I am so far away here in New Zealand.

I have however tackled the White with 1 challenge as I really liked the colours and will shortly put it up in the gallery. I hope to get to work on the other challenges as I do need the creative therapy.

Oh dear! Jannee, I do hope things go well for your Mum and it would be hard for you being so far away from her at this time.

yesterday I gardened, well, pottered in the garden, and had dinner with friends. Back to work today where we were all suffering severe Mondayitus. The weather has been so gorgeous it was hard to leave it behind and head for our climate-controlled world.

Jannee I hope your Mum is felling better soon.
Shauna nice to see you back, looking forward to seeing what you have done.
My camera is not working properly either, I have put inh a request for a Canon SLR for my birthday, since I am 50 this year I think I have a fairly good chance of getting it. :D
I will be taking a trip to Babinda on Sunday, it will be nice to checkout some of the new products IRL.
Have a nice day everyone.

thank you girls, it's good to be back.

I have found the USB cable, so have uploaded a pic of the layout I did this morning for Mandy's room challenge. :)

Trisha, I like your thinking -I will be 50 in 3 years, think I might put in a request for a Canon SLR then too!
