Merry christmas everyone.

For me here it is going to be a little sad christmas morning. Asher will be waking up at Craigs place, my first christmas morning away from all of her excitement. Yes even the way to early wake up calls. I have got friends coming over for breakie and then will be heading of to my sister in laws for lunch, my parents for dinner and then back home where Asher will get her pressies from me.

Merry Christmas one and all!

Chin up Julie - it is so hard, I know. My daughter is going through the same thing.

Going to Launie tomorrow to have Christmas lunch with daughter and son in law and then back to have Christmas tea with the neighbours.

Then I fly to Perth to see our daughter, 2 gorgeous grandchildren and also our son and new daughter in law.

After that off to Brisbane to see Mum, son, DIL and 2 more gorgeous grandchildren.

Joy!

Hope everyone enjoys their festive season and "see" you in the New Year.

oh Julie, its hard. The best of it is that you have made plans with great friends to make the most of it... you'll have a happy time with them, and a wonderful night when you get missy home...

You sound like us Cheryl! We spend lunch with my in-laws (they are fabulous people) and then by tea-time we are with my family. Its a great day. Have a wonderful time with your interstate travel!!

HOpe you have a great day planned too Deb :P

Was hard leaving her at Craig's tonight but it will work out all right in the end. With being out for most of the day she is going to be super excited to get home and her pressies here. It makes things easier for all of it that Craig and I are still friends and even though Asher isn't waking up here I will see her at SIL's for lunch (Craig's family) and dinner is at my parents place where Craig has been invited as well.

Anyway the pressies are all wrapped and set out, stockings filled, Santa's magic key brought in and the breakie table all set. Just going to veg for a bit before going to bed.

Thinking of you all today and hoping you are having a wonderful day with your family and friends, we've had a lovely relaxing day today, no traveling for us this year, so Ash has had all day to run wild and play with all his new goodies from Santa, have just come back from a lovely swim at the beach.. About to sit down with a glass of champers and a slice of pavlova, yummy... Anyone else like any..?

Happy Boxing Day!
We had a fabulous day yesterday too...
All was very merry at lunch with the in-laws and then drove 4hrs south to be with my parents and family for tea, poor dh had to drive back today as he has to work tomorrow (and look after the animals) but the girls and I are staying here in Hobart until Friday. Today we were trying to eat up leftovers... and have had TWO full days of EATING! Hannah and Paige went Boxing Day shopping with their Aunt which is nice for them (I opt out of that - me and crowds -uck!) They had a lot of fun.
Now we are at the 'relaxing' time of the - YAY!

Sounds like everyone is having a great time.
How was you day today Julie? HOpefully you've made up time with Missy! AND she's had a good day playing with her Christmas 'stash'!!

Karen - swimming and CHristmas - sounds heavenly!

Been a very relaxed veg out day here. Missy slept till 10 and she had a blast with her new Sky landers game, I had it all set up for her to play when she got up and watching disc 1 of the first season of Once upon a time. I have spent the rest of the day sorting out her room and putting away the new stuff and de-cluttering the old. I warned her that if she didn't help me I would be chucking out rubbish left right and center and she was fine with that until she realizes that she can't find something and then she will be regretting it.

I've done that many a time Julie - with Paige!! LOL, but thats the way the cookie crumbies!! hee hee. Its much better if they dont see what's 'going'!

I'm hoping to take mum and the girls to see 'Les Mis' today if I can get tickets - if not, might go see 'the Quartet' perhaps.

Some visiting friends will happen tonight - and then we will chooff off home tomorrow.

Belated Merry Christmas :) No computer time for me for the last few days, but have had a lovely time catching up with friends and family. Have all day today to craft  and maybe out for dinner with friends.

House still looks like a wrapping paper/food container/gift bomb hit it, but there's always tomorrow, I just need to stop for a day. Hope everyone else is recovering. A show sounds like a fab idea Mandy.

Hi Helen!! Glad you have had a great time too...

Let me tell you girls....Les Mis....
OH MY GOODNESS! it was A-M-A-Z-I-I-N-G!!
Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe ALL deserve OSCARS!

It was thrilling to the core. I've never been in a cinema before where the whole place rang with applause when the credits hit at the end!

I;d see it again.

Now I think I'd love to see Quartet, Gatsby, and there's a Russian one too - cant remember the name. So many fantastic movies released to see!
