A quick and easy step by step to make a cute little basket and bunny......
Image
to add to your Easter layout.
Image

Step 1.Ink up some corrugated board (Scrap Therapy pizza box packaging is good....dampen the top layer a little so that it peels off easier to reveal the corrugations).
Image
and onto a scrap of paper stamp one way.........
Image
re-ink and stamp the other way to form your basket weave.
Image

Step 2.Cut a 2 and 3/4" x 3 and 3/4" (sorry I don't do cm's well) shape from your stamped area and draw a basket shape on the reverse side.
Image
Then you can distress (optional) and ink the edges.
Image
Add some crumpled tissue paper on the front and I've used a paper doily scrap crumpled up and lightly inked for behind.
Image

Step 3.Now for your bunny - on the wrong side of a scrap of paper/card, draw a 1 and 1/2" square (just as a guide). Then draw a little pear shaped face and 2 bunny ears.
Image
Turn him over (you can ink his edges if you like) and give him a face, some ear inserts, nose and some whiskers (Mine are just frayed out scraps of cord) and put him and the basket aside for now.
Image

Step 4.As my LO is 8.5" x 11" size I have cut the background this size and the 2nd layer just a bit smaller 8" x 10.5" and distressed this edge. I've then swiped some lemon paint (which dried a little darker than I had wanted) so I then swiped a bit of white over it to tone it down. I then added some pale pink ink to the lid of the paint tube and stamped little circles randomly over this and then over again with some white. (Just be a little careful where you put your circles....I had to wipe a couple off because when I put my bunny down they appeared to be poking out at the side of his face and looked a bit odd)
Image

Step 5.Time to do your LO......mine is simple with just some scraps......a scalloped edge, some doodling and another little bit behind the photo/s. Add some ric rac and some yummy Prima flowers. You need to decide where your basket will fit into the LO.
Image

Step 6.Now pop your little bunny in the basket with the top frill covering up to his face (coz he has no body) lol. You can add a little bow in the middle. Time to make a handle for the basket. It is better that you sort out the spot for the basket and bunny first so that the handle will go up and over him. I have just knotted the ends of 2 pieces of cord and twisted......then laid some glue in the shape of a handle and placed the twisted cord down. (you can use gathered ribbon, lace, twine, whatever you like).
Image

Step 7.I then added my title, some pink stitching and some stamped journalling lines (and yes I forgot to clean my stamp so these are a brownish pink instead of pink oops).
Image

Step 8.And now you have a cute little LO for your Easter photos.
Image

Happy Easter and happy scrapping.
