Just to confirm... the brackets need to be about 7" high right, because they're going to the left and right of our portrait photo, not top and bottom...

I'm having a bit of a blonde night - I'm blaming it on my sickness :(

Step Five
The photo

(I actually cut the vertical sides of my portrait photo to make it a little narrower but you don’t have to)
Place your photo on either the right or left side of your 12x12 with the bottom of the photo about 2 inches from the bottom edge of the 12x12 – this is important to fit what we need to in at the top. Stick the brackets either side of the photo.

Is there space between photo and brackets or are the brackets touching/overlapping the photo?

Step Six
On the opposite side of the page, arrange the circles (with the ‘up and down’ swipes of paint still in an up and down direction like you would with going with the grain in fabric!!) in a vertical longways random pattern kinda like ‘molecules’ iykwim. Its zigzaggy and overlapping, mine is about 9-10 inches high....remember its a random pattern... but you arrange as you like. You WILL need to stick these down

(and there is a little space... to taste... not touching though)
