Love your photos Tiff, and the Venus Transit one Especially! I am not very impressed as we had cloud cover during the trasit which did not break until after it was finished.
I was wondering if you use a darker watermark for some photos and then a white, or lighter one for the dark photos? Same watermark, just different colours? I have seen this used before i think.
Also a question about the Copyright symbol. I notice that some people are using this. Should we put it in, or is copyright something that you have to purchase? Sorry may be a little too in depth, but have been thinking about it.

Hey Mel. spot on re darker versus lighter watermarks. quoting from the opening explanation.
"Use a thicker font so it doesn't look too thin and spidery, and you may need to produce two. A white one for darker backgrounds and a black one for lighter backgrounds."

The Australian Copyright Council has a good website for basic copyright information. Look at the "General" information from this page: http://www.copyright.org.au/find-an-answer/
If the answer is really important - see an expert (intellectual property lawyer)!
