I had a friend ask me to make up a set of thank you cards for her and thought I'd share with you the steps I took to make them using papers from the AuthenticGathering6x6 pad.
Materials 2 sheets white card stock 1 sheet of the flower, one of the blue, one of the stripe and one of the ruler patterns. String Spellbinders Label 14 die
Step 1 Cut 3 card bases from each sheet of cardstock measuring 6.5x5.5 inches. Score, ink and save off cuts. I have made these to fit in some smaller envelopes that I have here.
Step 2 Using 3 sheets with the blue pattern cut 6 3x5 pieces saving the off cuts.
Step 3 Ink and layer onto card bases alternating the position of the strip and tie string around them.
Step 4 Using the card off cuts cut out label dies. As I have cut them in half you can either cut three full ones or place the die over the edge of the card. Ink edges.
Step 5 Attach the label over the strip and string using a bone score to run along the string lines to enhance them.
Step 6 From the flower sheet cut out and 3d six flowers. Ink and add to cards.
Step 7 Stamp greeting and add in some punched butterflies.
If you use these steps to make up cards of your own we would love to see them and stay tuned as using some more papers from the same pad I have another card step post to share with you later on.
