This month I will be working with Teresa Collins. I've made a "cute-sie" page using the gorgeous Spring Fling range and had a play with photos of different sizes. I've created a silhouette from the photos ( a 6x8 photo and a 4x6 ). This is a special keepsake music box I bought for my grand-daughter for her 1st birthday. That's me, the Granny turtle with my grand-daughter ..... cute hey.
Firstly I cut the middle out of the Big Flowers patterned paper (reverse) so that I could use the flowers as embellies on the LO. Then I cut the Paisley patterned paper to 10"x10" and used the left over piece to make some grass.
I've matted the flower parts onto some scraps of black (just a fine edge to make them stand out). I've used some of the paisley scraps to make "funky" type leaves for the flower.
I've put some pop dots under the flower and under the journalling box at the top. I cut a strip of corrugated card to pop under the length of the grass to raise it up and liked the look of the bit hanging below that was meant to be cut off so it got left there and served as a matt for the love word as well.
