Recently I got an awesome coffin made from Craft wood, and seeing as though it's October, I thought this would be the perfect example. First off I gave it a quick coat of black paint just to seal it all over, then pulled out all of my goodies.. I have a big box full of bits and pieces and odds and ends that I get form all sorts of places, some are bought pieces and some are just things I find here and there , i'll normally keep it and find a use for it some where.. This is the top of the coffin.. I made a tag using some paper and a few bits and pieces and then stuck it on the top of the coffin.. ![]() The next bit, and the most fun was to fill it full of spooky goodness.. ![]() ![]() I've also cut some elements out of some paper and also added chipbaord pieces - The bell jar and skeleton, and make some spooky scrolls by tearing small rectangles of paper, then stamping them with a script stamp, swiping the edges wiht black paint and rolling them up and tying with twine.. taa daahh Spooky Scrolls.. To make something for the creepy hand to come out of i simply empited a matchbox, covered it in paper, and poked in the hand.. ![]() Hope you enjoyed a look into my spooky little coffin, Products Used: All Hallow's Eve Chipboard Curiosity Cards All Hallow's Eve Borders Poisioned Paper Skeleton paper Halloween Words Paper Tim Holtz Ornate Plates Interlude Flowers Rusty Vintage Keys Velvet Trinkets Tim Holtz Rosette Die |
