Hey not sure if i'm posting this in the right place... or if i should be posting it at all? But.. has anyone here ever renovated a doll's house either with scrapbooking paper (for wallpaper and floors) or fabric? I'm positive I've seen images of this somewhere but can't for the life of me remember where... was hoping it was one of you lovely ladies from here and that you could post a link to your blog if it was you?
Not I.....but I've just made one out of nappy boxes with my little GD.....we had a heap of fun but it is very simple so that she could help stick stuff on.....I just used cheapie wrapping paper for the outside and the nappy boxes had nice clean white inside them so that is how they are going to stay BUT have fun with your's.
perfect place to ask Maria - I have not seen one on here but certainly have sold paper to people for this very thing - the flocked Damask papers are very popular for these (My Minds Eye)
I did a dolls house up recently (and am just finishing off the interior now). It's the $10 one that you can get at Cotton On Kids - if you'd like to have a look at it, there's pics on my blog. Monday May 16th's post is some of the furniture, and the exterior is on April 29. I'm yet to wallpaper the inside of the house, but that's on the cards this week.

My mum makes the most amazing minatures.... she's a master doll maker and makes reproduction antique dolls and houses and they are sent all over the world - she also teaches them and adjudicates etc. And she has used scrapbooking paper from time to time- the damask ones too - and some with fine print. She said its better than most wallpapers.
Anyway thought you might enjoy looking at these just for the heck of it.... some of her new ones I took at christmas time
