Who’s going to join me at 8pm Sydney time!

This Blind Scrap will be relatively easy with an optional component – which is paint.
I’ve made this a girl page.. but can be adjusted to a boy page.

What you need is….

6x4 PORTRAIT photo

2 circle cutters or punches - approx 2inch, 1 ½ inch.

12x12 background paper – (plain pale colour- mine is a very very pale grey)

1 scrap paper – (dark) approx 8x4 (mine is black)

3 other scrap pieces of contrasting colours (can be patterned for circles if you prefer)

2 lengths of contrasting ribbon about 7inches long (one to make a bow – if a boy page may need to find something different??)

A round flower or boy embellie.

1 small buckle (you can make one out of chipboard)

Approx 20 buttons – contrasting colours – mainly small ones.

Alpha – for a one word title – preferably dark to match your piece of dark scrap paper.

Ink to match your piece of dark scrap paper

Distresser

OPTIONAL:
Paint – pale colour to match your background paper,

and other one or two contrasting colours (might want to match your circle scraps)

Paint brush

Hi Julia, I'm not sure what your time difference is... but hopefully it wont be a late one. If you cant stay up, thats fine, you can finish it in the next few days.

Its great fun!! we all interpret the instructions differently!

Hi! I just joined today because I came across a blind scrap here a little while ago and thought it looked like a whole lot of fun. So hopefully on the 29th the hubster will be home to wrangle the kids to bed and then my BFF and I will join you.

Just one question, when you say contrasting do you mean in contrast to the 12*12 paper or are the scraps, ribbon and paint all contrasting each other?

Thanks

Hey Nat - sooo glad you and your friend with join us!! Blind Scraps are SOOOO much fun!!

When I say contrasting - it really means matching - or different shades that contrast - or patterns that compliment each other - to your taste...
Pick out what you think you would like, then look at them all platced together and see if they are contrast/mix and match?

Mine has a grey-ish back ground - and then my scraps for the circles contrast/compliment each other if you know what I mean.

It doesnt matter so long as you like it - and of course if you want to display some poetic licence - then thats fully allowed too!! :P

Have to put the alarm on my phone to make sure I turn up for this one, after accidentally missing Julie's blind scrap!
