Hi Tiff
Many thanks for the comments, much appreciated. This was one of those photos that was just snapped in a moment. With your suggestions, I'm going to have a go at setting the shot up as opposed to my usual snap and run theory.
And I would be up for learning about sunflare, I think i need to print off all the tutorials, so I can refer to them later
I am thinking by the end of the year Tiff could publish a book with these - they are fantastic and we love you Tiff for sharing all this fantastic info with us

ScoutAnnie. Isn't he a sweetie.
The first really shows his eyes. The colour, the sparkle and the character. So just for those reasons, that's my pick of the three. Oh and that little pursed mouth. I would have liked to see all of his head in the shot, or more of his head cut off. Just so that its more obvious one or the other.
The second one has a great pop of colour with his cup in the shot and the backrest of the seat (?) behind him.
The third shot needs to cropped and straightened to lose the background on the right side to have any impact.
