Oh my gosh Ant.. yes Kelly has gone - should have been the first one to leave! They dont seem to see that it was him that has been their downfall! They'll be right now.. at least they are two good strong men.

Rebecca cut her finger open with a knife filleting a fish at school in Hospitality. Ended up having to get 5 stitches. I thought I would faint when the doctor was putting the needle in to numb it, right into the cut... Rebecca was trying to be brave but that did make her cry.
oh dear what an ordeal!!! Poor little thing. I hope it heals REALLY quickly..
I hate this time of the year "grass fire season" I havent seen my husband for 3 days he's been doing 18 hr days and I think after what happened in the last couple of days it's really upset me to know he's risking his life saving others (last night he nearly got burnt to death trying to save a house) lucky the wind changed otherwise god knows and all because people just can't get it into thier thick heads illegal burning is dangerous they have these rules for a reason!!!! And Master C is such hard work without his dad!! He is so naughty he didn't eat his dinner until 7.30 tonight he's supposed to be in bed by then!!! Ok I ranted enough!! Good night all xx

I hear you Ant - it is sad that people dont see how they risk the lives of our volunteers when they do stupid things - down our way it is swimming in danerous creeks that kill people.

morning all.
food shopping for me this morning and then I'm getting some stuff ready for a market on Saturday morning. i really should do some housework but i think it will just be the washing today.
No! I actually was too stressed out to think of taking my camera with me... I will have to settle for a shot of her with the bandage on her finger.
It has been extremely painful for her, I think it must be all the nerve endings in the fingertip. But last night she slept better than the previous night.
Expecting showers here, but I hope they don't come too soon. I have to take Rachel to Balmoral beach today as she needs to take photos and do drawings for Uni.....so I am not too upset about having to take her there! Might even stop for a coffee while we are there.
