I spent Sunday in the crop room in Babinda with a group of friends and had a wonderful day.
Helenp [who is my sister] and I am going to Babinda for the weekend 21st and 22nd April and we would love some company if anyone can make it, either for one day or both. I think some ladies have already booked in so don't be slow to ring Lee-Anne.
Wish I could have been there Trisha - I'll make it one weekend that you and Helen are visiting I promise!
All systems a go here today - I wrote out my to do list on the weekend and realised I've probaly left way too much til the last minute! *Sigh!* And I only thought to check the weather forecase on Sunday night - very glad I did - max temps of 11 degrees when I land on Friday! It's supposed to be Spring! Brrrrr!!! I've had to dig through my old winter stuff to see what I can take with me, but I only have one pair of jeans (and no closed in dress shoes!) so I'll have to fit in some shopping amongst all those errands too (devastated - not ).
I'm also going in to work today to print off some of Tiff's tutorials - I won't be able to go 3 weeks without doing something creative (and I can't very well take my scrapping stuff with me) so I'm going to try some photography and editing (wish me luck - I've never managed to do anything much with either in the past!).
Hope you're all staying dry - after gloating to my family at Easter about how lovely the weather has been here, it hasn't stopped raining since I got back!

Busy week for me out here. Trying to fit in moving over some more of the small stuff before the furniture van on Friday morning along with work, staff meetings, spending time with dd over the last of t he school holidays and that is without trying to sort out two dt projects that I need to have done. I'll get there it is just going to be a few late nights I think.
DH and I have been painting. Yuk....we both hate it and end up with more paint on us than on the walls I think but it's amazing what a bit of paint can do for a room......it's looking all sparkly new now.

Hectic that's right Missy Vicki. My brain is going a mile a minute trying to make sure I don't forget anything.
Day of tomorrow but that is going to be filled up with a visit to the laywers, centerlink, harvey norman and to round it all of an inservice and staff meeting at work.
Sounds like a busy day for you Julie...my brain is fuzzy on ANY good-given day LOL...I hope you get everything sorted, done and ticked off.
Ahh...the joys of painting, Deb. My kids repainted their bedrooms last summer. What a shambles, we had "stuff/furniture" everywhere...but oh so worth it when it was finish. I keep thinking I should touch up the rest of the house..but can't quite get around to it LOL!
Enjoy you holiday Christine...I look forward to hearing all about it!

Helenp and I spent the weekend in the crop room in Babinda with some other girls, Nerida, Robyn... hello, where are you. We had a terrific time and produced some layouts. Helenp spent most of her time doing scrap aheads and I just scrapped photos I had already printed.
Thankyou Lee-Anne for your encouragement and thank you Danny for the coffee.
Just say the word Mandy and we will be there to get you from the Airport - I am sure a bundle of girls would come keep you company for the weekend (as much as I would love to have you all to myself )
Trisha I am glad you had a great time - look forward to seeing your layouts in the gallery very very soon
