Ok girls, if you have not had a play with last weeks Technique Tutorial yet now is the time - I have a brand new monthly challenge for you -
your challenge from me is to do a layout or card that includes the use one of the techniques I showed you last week +1 item -
this months +1 is any 'found item' - I have used some cotton bandage, but A found item is basically any piece of stuff you have lying around from your everyday life, it could be the tab of a coke can, or a flattened out bottle cap......anything that you might find around the house on a day to day basis.
Here is my example, using both the techniques along with a few other bits and pieces... This is an 8x8 Layout with a 2x3 photo - it is a great way to get the proportioning of the embellishments bigger and it uses less to still get great results - some the embellishments used can be a bit small on a 12x12 layout
Looking forward to seeing what you create and your "found" objects ( remember to let us know what they in your layout description , in case they aren't that obvious), ... most of all get inky and have fun!!
pages must be newly created solely for the use of this challenge and may not be used in any other challenge until winners are announced. All entries must be non-digital and in the correct folder in the gallery corresponding to challenge undertaken and are due by midnight of the last day of the month. The winner will receive a $25 Scraptherapy Voucher, which will be valid for one month from the date of issue. If vouchers are not able to be used within that time for some reason the voucher can be RAK'd to a friend for their use.
What a beautiful layout to get us all enthused Karen and easy to play along with the challenge too - I might even have to see what I can come up with - I want to do some of the Challenges this month - including Mandy's room challenges - they are great colours over there
