Hope you enjoy your day at home Julie!

I did a big clean up downstairs yesterday after work (you can actually see my dining room table again!). Thinking about heading out to get some photos printed soon so that I can work on another couple of layouts before the end of the month.

I hope everyone else is having a relaxing weekend!

I'm off to Bali tomorrow so it's going to be a great week for me

Made the decision today to go back to work (took 8 weeks off to think about it and to take holidays - but will go back earlier as new management has taken over centre and there is a few changes happening - all good I hope).

I've no mojo and haven't had any for a while now :(

Hi girls, hope everyone's enjoying the start of the week.

I joined an agency today for temp work, my typing speed wasn't too bad thank goodness, so fingers crossed. Haven't worked in 9 years so it felt a bit weird getting suited and booted, but they were pretty encouraging.

Gonna scrap on Wednesday I think. This may sound like a silly question but does anyone know if you can get photos printed from a mobile phone? ( I have no idea about these things with a mobile  , I used to take my digital camera memory card into BigW to print my photos)

Hi Shauna - I know I can print photos that I've taken with my mobile, but I'm not sure about printing photos that someone has messaged you.

I have a cord that I use to upload my photos from my phone to my computer - I could take that same cord & print from the photo booths at Big W. I also had an sd card in the phone that can be removed and used to upload photos to the photo booth.

I know that Gis has mentioned on here before that you can also use bluetooth to send your pics to the photo booth (if your phone has it).

Hope that helps!

Well it was an interesting weekend and today we ran away for the day and had a real day off - should have been doing a newsletter but so be it

Friday at 4pm I added Rob to our insurance policy on my car as a designated driver - at 4.30 he put the car into the side of a ute - a really silly accident that just comes down to inexperience and he is all good so that is ok but they will probably write off the car - I really hope not because it has been a fantastic little car and I in the 14years I have had it has hardly skipped a beat - oh well - stuff happens. Shame that we had just spent a bundle on getting the clutch fixed and a few other things - could have happened before that!

So today we grabbed a tourist (US friend working next door at the pub) and ran away to the tablelands for a driving day out and to enjoy the sunshine - Did the Mamu boardwalk this morning - a big tower in the treetops - got some great all green photos (thanks Tiff) did a few other fun things and popped into Jacques Coffee plantation for a coffee this afternoon on the way home - have not been there before but for the NQ girls I would highly recommend it - great coffee, excellent service, good price and just a really relaxed atmosphere - it was a great way to finish a lovely day out before the drive down the range and home again.

very glad Rob is ok Lee-Anne, shame about the car, I'd feel the same if my little purple car was suddenly not here.

You've made me wish I was back on holidays! And we were planning a quick camping trip, but now it's going to rain, so not sure what we'll do..

Been a long day at work today and I have decided that I so need a change. I am going to be trying to look for something else job wise. After nearly 24 years in the one job it is finally time for me to move on but to do what who knows.

Sounds like you had a great weekend Lee-Anne - except for the car. Glad you had the foresight to add Rob to the insurance.

I haven't been to Jacques before but we have been to Coffee Works at Mareeba - the little coffee museum was interesting (for us coffee addicts!) and you can pick up $5 off vouchers from various places around the city, and they gave us a return pass to use within 6 months (so flash your id local girls - it's worth it!). Not to mention all you can eat/drink chocolate, coffee, tea and liqueur... I haven't done the Mamu walk but would make the effort to get up there again next time I have visitors.

I hope you manage to have a small break Helen - even if the weather isn't cooperating.

Congratulations on your decision Julie - they say a change is as good as a holiday. I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy - but I don't envy you job hunting. It's up there on my list of things I hate (along with house hunting :-S). But good luck!

Hope your holiday is great Shimano and Helen enjoy your break, you can come to Cairns if you like.
Lee-Anne I hope all is okay, the tablelands has so many places to go it can be quite restful. Love the Coffee.
Congratulations Julie, that is a hard decision to make, good luck in your search.
Quiet day for me, shall see if I can get some Scrapping done. :)

I'd love to come to Cairns!! sigh...
Sounds heavenly Lee-Anne... hee hee done that walk...and LOVE the Tablelands!
Have wonderful time in Bali Christine!! wowo- so lucky- would love to go there! Make sure you take plenty of pics and then maybe your mojo will be waiting for you when you get home.

I hear you Julie.... I;ve finally got a new studio and it all starts next term (we are on hols now - but I've still got ballet comp kids rehearsing  no really holidays for me) :| Maybe the change is what we need hey? Will be painting painting painting the house - its a tedious job!
I wish I had time to scrap Trisha... I've got to slip in some time here and there to get only what I need to done these days... I cant wait to be in a position to scrap whenever I want again. (another sigh)

Hope your camping trip works out okay Helen. We just got back from a weekend away to my parents (dad's 76th birthday) which was a nice break... but got so much to do now - dont you just hate the laundry after getting home! ugh!

Have a good week too Christine! And hope you sorted your photos Shauna...

I better go - hang out washing and get the ole paint clothes on :|
