Evening girls.
I have not long gotten in from work and am lucky that I have no plans for tonight as it is wild and windy out there. I am so going to be rugged up nice and warm.
Beautiful weather here, Julie although a little on the hot side tonight. I spent 3/4 of the day with my littlest GD........oh she does some of the cutest things. Then later today I decided I had hardly any desk space in my scrap room so I started a bit of a clean up which has turned into a major sorting out project. Sick of it atm so will finish it off tomorrow. I need to get some little plastic baskets to sort some stuff.

it's a bit foggy here this morning, am hoping that it clears very soon and the sun comes out, we are off to the mobile waterpark at Hervey Bay today.. not sure i really want to be sliding on waterslides if it's going to be overcast, but apparently even though Ash has trackie pants and a jumper on, it's great weather to a very excited two and half year old ... lol wish me luck!!

After my very productive scrap day yesterday, 3 layouts and 5 cards today was washing, stripping bed, 2 20 min walks there and back to go and get Asher and about an hour if not more attacking the grass in the garden beds. Now I am totally exhausted and will prob have a nanna nap once I get the meatloaf in the oven for dinner.

I have had the laziest weekend! I had Friday off work and we went to lunch at a new(ish) cafe and it was lovely. Saturday was DH's birthday, which entailed me making 2 cakes (because he couldn't decide which one he wanted), dinner with our fabulous neighbours, and then a game of cards. Today I have had a pj day. I have been in my pj's for the whole day! I have never done that before, but who cares? Had nowhere to go and nothing to do... I finished up my LO for Karen's Spring Recipe Challenge, made an anniversary card and halfway through a birthday card (plus I made one for DH), so it hasn't been entirely unproductive. I am getting a tad excited about my upcoming trip to Cairns/Babinda.....have decided no more scrapping until then, or I won't have anything to do when I get there. Have to get lots of photos printed out, so that will be my scrap therapy for now. Have a good week, everyone.

Thats what we call a 'nothing day' Cheryl! Even though we had a zillion things to do in organising this house - we had the morning off... no getting dressed till lunchtime!
Then we had so much to do. Got semi-sorted - and have so much 'stuff' that needs to GO! The new bed we got was a disaster! THey couldnt supply the one we wanted and offered us a more expensive one instead... at the same price. We laid on it in the store and it 'seemed' good. After one night in it - I spent half it up with back ache.. how does one pick a bed after spending 10 minutes on it in the shop! After going back today to say 'unhappy' - they've changed it for us and our new one comes tomorrow - fingers crossed this one is right

Oh no Mandy - what a disaster with the bed. Hopefully the replacement will be better. It is hard to choose a bed - as you say, after lying on it for 10 minutes in the shop!
Sounds like you are getting organised in the new house. Don't envy you one little bit.
My son and DIL have just sold and bought a house, so they have the big move coming up too. Adjacent suburbs, so it won't be too far, but still......all that packing and unpacking!
Oh well, back to work today - I did enjoy my long weekend off.
Have arrived home from a very sleep deprived weekend but had a bundle of fun with the Stampin Up girls in Tinaroo this weekend. Thanks to the DT for all holding down the fort while I was away.
Mandy the bed sounds a disaster - hope the new one is better. Moving a couple of streets can be the hardest move to make - when we moved to North Qld we had one truck to move with so we had no choice other than to be brutal with what we thru out - the one move that we did within the same suburb we just took everything and it took weeks to get it sorted.

New bed is so much better - at long last. Yeah Lee-Anne, trying to be brutal here and getting rid of stuff! Its harder us all being back at work now -grrr. Could have done with an extra week off! sigh.
Nevermind. Next thing on agenda is getting our new woodfire installed (and yes I still have an open fire too
And I'm having dh's grandmothers beautiful old lounge suit recovered... poor old thing needs a new lease on life.
