While away on retreat a few weekends ago I created a set of cards using my new label 1 scallop dies and loved the way that they looked that when I needed to make up a card for all the girls to sign for a friend at work who was leaving I lifted my self.
Here is my first lot of cards.
Thinking of you card set.
And my lift of them.
Best wishes.
These are the steps I took to create my pocket card. (Sorry the first two pics were very blurry)
Step 1- Cut cardstock to 6 x 11 3/4 inches and then score and fold @4 and 8 inches. Cutting of that 1/4 of an inch makes the card sit nicely when folded.
Step 2-Cut and ink 2 pieces of paper 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and one 3 1/4 x 51/2 to create panels for the front back and flap of the card.
Step 3-Using a circle punch, punch out a 1/2 circle from the smaller piece that is to go on the flap part of the card.
Step 4-Attach all 3 peices to the card base with tape on three sides only of the pocket peice.
Step 5-Now we can embellish the front. I snipped into a long thin scrap to make a ribbon look piece and then added a die cut label and flowers.
these came up a treat Julie - I think I need to have a play and do some scraplifting myself - what is that paper you have used - I should know but with over 4000 papers in store these days it is hard to keep track - I am thinking it looks MME
