A by gone era

I drew my inspiration from the fashions. This is me and DH in period costume.The old tape measure is a scan of my DH's Nanna' tape[ I still use it] and the necklace is my mums. This is my first go at shabby chic, so any advice from you guys will be greatly appreciated, cause I don't know what I am doing!This photo has turned out a bit darker than the actual LO.

Oh wow Leanne!! That is gorgeous! It is shabby and I wouldn't suggest to do anything else with it. The lace is gorgeous and the l love the postioning of the flowers!! Great job!!
