IMG_8619.JPGYour special day....October CC...Bower bird challenge....This is my take on Lisa's challenge. (loved it)
I have included:
Paint and ink (used my new maya stamps!!!!:-))
Own handwriting or a freestyle title...I have used both. I drew the 'special' title and tried to make it similiar to the rub on's I have used...(not too sure I was that successful!!!)
The colour red....(bit of understatement really!!!!)
Two different p/p's (the gorgeous mme ranges)
Wool...Have used wool for the stitching around the photo...

Inked edges/script stamp/journalling stamp/bottom corner. Freehand title. Red ribbon,flower & corner. 2 pp's -OA firefly & MME alphabet soup.

I used kraft c/s, red paint and staz on red ink, bo bunny pp, twine and random flowers, buttons and bling with october afternoon letters, which I coloured to match. For the handwriting there is the brief journalling down the bottom and the fun is handwritten then stitched over the top. Even though this is a double page I utilized the Bower challenge into this Layout. It is the photo of the Hades Group from "The Myth of Persephone, Hades & Demeter" put on by MHS. I painted & stamped the background then distressed and Inked the edges, used my own handwriting on tags and around frame and on the pattern paper. Definately used RED, 2 pattern papers were American Craft -Awesome and Pages from Fancy pants - pp pad - All fall.
