feb-milkshakes-anyone.jpgMilkshakes Anyone?Now Showing: Milkshakes Anyone
Starring: Josh and Ash

True story of what happens when two determined and independent children want a milkshake and their mother is just a little busy at the time of asking. Not settling for 'just a minute' or 'I'll be finished soon', they take matters into their own hands and do it themselves. Out Now!

TEXT READS:
The Scene – Mum is in the office, working on the computer, trying to get an email finished off. Josh (4) and Ash (2) come in.

Josh: Can we have a milkshake please Mum?
Mum: Sure, but I’ll just be a couple of minutes here.
Josh: Can we have Chocolate or Strawberry flavour?
Mum: You can have any flavour you like.
Josh: Come on Mum, can we get it now please? (Josh pulls on Mum’s shirt)
Mum: OK matey, I’m just about finished here. Just one more minute.

(Josh and Ash disappear for a few minutes .... then re-appear, but with very pink milkshakes in hand!)

Josh: Mum, you don’t have to stop working – we did it ourselves!
Mum: WHAT?!?!?!?

.... Mum heads off to the kitchen ....

Josh: Mum, we used a ‘picnic blanket’ (tea towel) so we didn’t make a mess on the floor!

Loved this one PT - knew the photos as soon as I read the post. Thanks!

Josh - Mum, were you alive when you had to get water in a bucket?
Me - Ummmm....no honey
Josh - Was Grandma? Did she have to take a bucket to the pump?
Me - No honey, not where we live
Josh - But she was alive for the bombs
Me - Ummmm (had to think here) yes she was alive for World War II

He just always need to put things in perspective, especially about how old Grandma and I are..lol!!
