April_-_Twiddleybitz_-_Summer_Hugs.jpgApril - Lisa's Surprise Scrap - Summer HugsThank you Lisa.....a lovely weekend page...
This might be in the wrong folder too.
This is my DIL & DGS on the beach...happy smiles. I have used old unknown pp & some 3D stickers I actually have always liked, had lots of years, but have never used. Made the hills with new Imaginisce pp & cream CS, new ribbon & Twiddleybitz chippie, Zig writer, Dew drop ink.

our-wedding.jpgOur WeddingThis was for Lisa's surprise challenge of using your old stash. This Layout will be part of my brothers wedding album which I think I bought all the stuff for about 18 months ago. It got sidetracked with my wedding and moving, and being so busy with work this year, but I really need to get it done.
EDIT: Just moved the folder4 comments05/02/10 at 19:03patey_girl: the flowers and flourishes look awesome!
STA60028-1.JPGLisa's Suprise Challenge April 2010 - Something OldI loved this challenge as i have so much older stash, especially pp's which i hoard & think "oh that's got to be used for a special card/LO". Apart from the bling, everything i used was well over 12 months old!!!
I have used a circular aperture card, K&Co pp which i cut all of the flowers, swirls & leafy bits from, i am unsure who the background pp is by, the sentiment behind the acetate is by Kaiser, bling & Glossy Accents.
Thankyou Lisa xxx

for-the-love-of-colour.jpgFor the Love of ColourI created the background out of all those manufacturer's name strips down the bottom of patterned papers. (Including a couple from Cosmo's Nutmeg range - to incorporate the woodgrain pattern!) Then I gave it a thin coat of gesso to dull it down a touch and bring a bit more cohesion.
My journaling says "I dressed you in these brightly coloured onesies when you were first born, but they were size 0000 and you were such a big baby who had no trouble growing so they barely lasted you 2 weeks. Today I went out 9 comments05/01/10 at 21:06scrappinallie: Brilliant background! Love this layout, just gorge...
Colour_challenge_April10_ST.jpgNot a baby anymore.........My take on Bec's colour challenge. I revamped a tree cut-out I had to make the colours more appropriate for the challenge and tried to ink in a bit of a woodgrain pattern on the tree trunk (not too successfully) so then I added a strip of woodgrainy pp in behind (just in case lol). I added DM to the bee's wings to make them stand up a bit. tfl6 comments05/01/10 at 21:04scrappinallie: Wow, this is so cool! Love the cut out pics.
