It got sidetracked with my wedding and moving, and being so busy with work this year, but I really need to get it done. STA60028-1.JPGLisa's Suprise Challenge April 2010 - Something OldI loved this challenge as i have so much older stash, especially pp's which i hoard & think "oh that's got to be used for a special card/LO". Apart from the bling, everything i used was well over 12 months old!!! I have used a circular aperture card, K&Co pp which i cut all of the flowers, swirls & leafy bits from, i am unsure who the background pp is by, the sentiment behind the acetate is by Kaiser, bling & Glossy Accents. (Including a couple from Cosmo's Nutmeg range - to incorporate the woodgrain pattern!) Then I gave it a thin coat of gesso to dull it down a touch and bring a bit more cohesion. My journaling says "I dressed you in these brightly coloured onesies when you were first born, but they were size 0000 and you were such a big baby who had no trouble growing so they barely lasted you 2 weeks. I revamped a tree cut-out I had to make the colours more appropriate for the challenge and tried to ink in a bit of a woodgrain pattern on the tree trunk (not too successfully) so then I added a strip of woodgrainy pp in behind (just in case lol).
