IMG_0666.JPGDadThis is my hand at vintage. I envision it to be dark colours with gold, busy papers, distressing and sewing. Oh and paisley! Paisley always reminds me of my parents because dad had a paisley tie and mum had a purple paisley dress, that I remember in some photos.6 comments03/05/09 at 18:50julie21566: just love those colours so striking.

Little_Farmers.jpgLittle FarmersI used coredinations CS as my bsckground Then I painted it with white I used white Broderie Anglase at the side of the photo, down the page [Threaded with red ribbon] and at the top I used the embroidery off an old fashioned collar. I made flowers with a punch and used white to ink the edges. Some buttons and fibres and I put in a splash of soft beige and matched the stamp and ink for the edges to the greytones of the photo.8 comments03/05/09 at 17:41beccyb: I love the materials and the fibres.
