Newspaper_Everyday.JPGAllie's DT challenge layout - Newspaper Every DayThanks Maria for the fab criteria for this layout. I was a bit scared of the newspaper part but I scanned it in, printed it out on plain paper and then used diluted paint to wash over it to get the colour I wanted. I loved the sketch BUT decided not to use p/p's as they just didnt work with the photo...Anyway I used my black signo pen and did some free-hand drawing...This is the cup and the oh so wonderful card I recieved for mothers day from no 1 grandson...I love these kind of gifts.... I started by flipping it both upside down and horizontally. I have substituted the banner with a half circle of liquid pearls, the patterned paper strips with some lace and a line of journaling and added an extra photo instead of some embellishments.
