I loved the soft and muted colours of the setting and have also used the frame and flowers for my inspiration. So I set the photograph in a frame of blossoms and lace. I will upload the journalling also as the title means nothing without the romantic story of the meeting of my great grandparents. There are some elements on the page that are symbolic of the story, the cross for their christianity, the tape and clock for the many years they spent together. A few years back I scanned this photo into my computer and spent many hours fixing it. The original photo was a B&W snapshot that turned out rather well so a friend of Mums used the special photo ink to colour it. It wasn't a professional job & when I enlarged it the colour didn't go to the edges.
