April_Journalling_-_Our_Son.jpgApril Journalling - Our SonOh what a huge, gigantic change in our lives...the birth of our son in 1979.....I loved working on this double LO....we don't have lots of photos of Benni when he was little...(oh the digital age is wondrous to me) & I wanted to scrap this photo of me....looking like a stunned mullet.....& DH who was bowled over as well.
Used brown CS & a pinky beige colour pp...I dont know why, but it was calling, chippies, KC flowers & brads, hand sewing, alphas, ink.

for-the-love-of-colour.jpgFor the Love of ColourI created the background out of all those manufacturer's name strips down the bottom of patterned papers. My journaling says "I dressed you in these brightly coloured onesies when you were first born, but they were size 0000 and you were such a big baby who had no trouble growing so they barely lasted you 2 weeks. Today I went out 9 comments04/17/10 at 07:55beccyb: Oh beautiful!! Just perfect for the challenge! Lov...

Colour_challenge_April10_ST.jpgNot a baby anymore.........My take on Bec's colour challenge. I revamped a tree cut-out I had to make the colours more appropriate for the challenge and tried to ink in a bit of a woodgrain pattern on the tree trunk (not too successfully) so then I added a strip of woodgrainy pp in behind (just in case lol). I added DM to the bee's wings to make them stand up a bit. tfl6 comments04/17/10 at 07:52beccyb: Gorgeous!! Love all you've done!
