Karumba___Scrapbooking_054.JPGCC Bower Bird - MSH PresentsThanks for the Challenge Lisa Even though this is a double page I utilized the Bower challenge into this Layout. It is the photo of the Hades Group from "The Myth of Persephone, Hades & Demeter" put on by MHS. I painted & stamped the background then distressed and Inked the edges, used my own handwriting on tags and around frame and on the pattern paper. Definately used RED, 2 pattern papers were American Craft -Awesome and Pages from Fancy pants - pp pad - All fall. Musee_Rodin_28Medium29.jpgMusee RodinThank you Cybercrop for helping me find my scrap table after quite a while!! I really did start with the sketch but it has morphed a little along the way. I started by flipping it both upside down and horizontally. I have substituted the banner with a half circle of liquid pearls, the patterned paper strips with some lace and a line of journaling and added an extra photo instead of some embellishments. PP is MME, flowers are Prima. Title is thickers and cut with Cricut as is the Eiffel tower and birdcage.11 comments10/24/10 at 22:37belindaboyce: lovely LO! I made the papers myself using a variety of art techniques such as marbling, shaving foam printing, water colour pencils, salt resist and crayon resist. I also used ink and paint. Bazzill card. The owl is from 'what a hoot' pp by Kaiser and the leaves are from We R memory keepers, fiddle faddle. Please excuse wonky photo - I'm still learning how to do all these technological things! I loved the sketch BUT decided not to use p/p's as they just didnt work with the photo...Anyway I used my black signo pen and did some free-hand drawing...This is the cup and the oh so wonderful card I recieved for mothers day from no 1 grandson...I love these kind of gifts....
