ST_CC_Oct_10_inspiration_chall.jpg
ST_CC_Oct_10_inspiration_chall.jpgOur little spot of creativity...........My take on Bec's inspiration challenge. Took my inspiration from the colours and the rectangular brush strokes. Used OA (dew drop inn) as the b/ground and dropped fairly watered down paint on it, cut diff coloured scraps of pp into random rectangles, added flowers and buttons for more colour. tfl9 comments10/23/10 at 20:09margieo: Amazing....
Sunset.jpg
Sunset.jpgSunset_CC Oct Theme ChallengeI took inspiration from the bright colours and the patchwork like brush strokes from the painting.
The photo was taken on the side of the highway, in the Mallee on a return trip from Melbourne to Mildura. I just had to stop and take a picture as the sunset was so beautiful!!!
Thanks Bec for a great challenge.

sscc_017.jpgDaydreamingOh this painting really inspired me, first for the subject i felt the paint reaminded me of dreaming, so i compilmented that with the lovely colourful Prima Paisly road papers and also used one of the yummy prima masks :D as well as making the butterflies from the same paper and doddling my title as i wanted to keep with the dreaming feeling :D 7 comments10/23/10 at 20:08margieo: I adore these p/p's...great take on the chall...

nature_s_artwork.JPGFirst attemp at a cc. I made the papers myself using a variety of art techniques such as marbling, shaving foam printing, water colour pencils, salt resist and crayon resist. I also used ink and paint. Bazzill card. The owl is from 'what a hoot' pp by Kaiser and the leaves are from We R memory keepers, fiddle faddle. Please excuse wonky photo - I'm still learning how to do all these technological things! Thanks for kind comments.10 comments10/23/10 at 20:06margieo: Gorgeous

card.jpgOct CC - card challengeLoved the sketch Helen. I used a Hero Arts flower stamp for the background, Crate Paper and some rubons. For the 'arty' bit I painted some white paint on pink PP and then added some crackle effect medium. I used this as a base for the rubons. Don't think the crackle effect will show up on the photo though! I also used DM on the seed beads to keep them in place.6 comments10/23/10 at 20:02margieo: I LOVE these too claire....A beautiful set....
