IMG_6080.JPGFirstTana's first christmas. Still trying to do last years photos!!
I forgot to mention that I used a script stamp and embossed it white on the tag under the word first.7 comments11/09/09 at 22:32shimano: love the shabby feel to this layout
magic_moment.jpgMagic MomentI have flipped the sketch on its side so I could use two smaller photos.
My interpretation is based on our rush to get out of the ward when we could grab moments to take Josh to the magic of the fairy garden at the Children's hospital.

gotta_rush.jpgGotta Rush!I have taken inspiration from the running, the bull (journalling says 'Like a bull at a fete!), the warm colours, the shapes of the buildings and the crowded feeling of being closed in! :)
Used Basic Grey Gypsy Patchouli pp, Basic Grey Fusion Criss cross pp, Bo Bunny pp, Sass Lass pp, Gold glimmermist, 2 x bazzill c/s, Thickers alphas, Jo Sonja black paint, staple, buttons. 7 comments11/09/09 at 22:30shimano: great use of paint
Muriel_031.JPGStitches of LoveI took my inspiration from the colours of the flags [teal & red] and the buildings [sandstone and brown]. I used CS which I sanded, distressed, inked and stamped. I tea dyed the lace stitched the title and handmade the journaling card. The photo is of my friend Gloria and her little brother taken in 1950 when Gloria was 3 yo. The children's clothes [parachute silk] were sewn and hand embroidered by their Mother, Dorothy Rowena Woods. Stitched with love.6 comments11/09/09 at 22:28shimano: beautiful LO
budapestdancingqueen2.jpgNov CC Inspiration - Budapest Dancing QueenThis is my take on the pitcure. I have BG Nook and Pantry red paper as the base and the pitcures like the buildings. The stampede is my niece twirling around in a stampede!6 comments11/09/09 at 22:26shimano: this is fantastic
IMG_6076.JPGStamped Christmas CardsSeeing as I haven't started on my cards, this was a great op. The first card has a stamped and embossed script stamp for the background, the second card I have stamped a flourish stamp onto the corrugated card and the third I have stamped with white paint under the buttons.

Best_Friends~0.jpgBest FriendsI am only new to stamping, and not really used stamps for layouts before, so this one is pretty basic. But I am still pleased with the end result.5 comments11/09/09 at 22:24shimano: great layout
My_Big_Gig.jpgMy Big GigI used the red as my inspiration and the postage stamp border to tie in with the theme.7 comments11/09/09 at 22:23shimano: love the colours - great layout
