Muriel_031.JPGStitches of LoveI took my inspiration from the colours of the flags [teal & red] and the buildings [sandstone and brown]. I used CS which I sanded, distressed, inked and stamped. I tea dyed the lace stitched the title and handmade the journaling card. The photo is of my friend Gloria and her little brother taken in 1950 when Gloria was 3 yo. The children's clothes [parachute silk] were sewn and hand embroidered by their Mother, Dorothy Rowena Woods. Stitched with love.6 comments11/09/09 at 19:31scrappinallie: This is beautiful, such lovely stories you are scr...

IMG_6076.JPGStamped Christmas CardsSeeing as I haven't started on my cards, this was a great op. The first card has a stamped and embossed script stamp for the background, the second card I have stamped a flourish stamp onto the corrugated card and the third I have stamped with white paint under the buttons.
