close_encounter.jpgAug CC - Sketch - Close Encounterthis is my take on the great sketch. I handmade my flower by cutting out some pattern paper leaves, blanket stiching around them, cutting the inner colour around the top, inking and raising in 3d, and putting it all together with a brad in the middle. Hope that counts as homemade!!9 comments08/23/10 at 20:49Leanne: Love the colours & stitching so neat Ronnie, Well ...

August_CC-bowerbird_chall_.JPGFord Falcon in the mid 1960'sLuv'd this chall. but didn't quite go to plan. Scalloped edge - check. 1 button-check. 6 brads-check. 2 or more circles - check.
4 pp's - well there is 4 but used the reverse of 1 so does that make it 5? red-check. 1 number - well I think 1960 is 4 but I needed to put that. 2 diff. alphas - actually I have 3 (the little "s" on the end of the 1960 just had to be there). 1 handmade embellie - well 1 of Bec's little flowers from the blind scrap just didn't look right so I made another. lol tfl
