IMG_8619.JPGYour special day....October CC...Bower bird challenge....This is my take on Lisa's challenge. (loved it) I have included: Paint and ink (used my new maya stamps!!!!:-)) Own handwriting or a freestyle title...I have used both. I drew the 'special' title and tried to make it similiar to the rub on's I have used...(not too sure I was that successful!!!) The colour red....(bit of understatement really!!!!) Two different p/p's (the gorgeous mme ranges) Wool...Have used wool for the stitching around the photo... One photo... Musee_Rodin_28Medium29.jpgMusee RodinThank you Cybercrop for helping me find my scrap table after quite a while!! I really did start with the sketch but it has morphed a little along the way. I started by flipping it both upside down and horizontally. I have substituted the banner with a half circle of liquid pearls, the patterned paper strips with some lace and a line of journaling and added an extra photo instead of some embellishments. I made the papers myself using a variety of art techniques such as marbling, shaving foam printing, water colour pencils, salt resist and crayon resist. I also used ink and paint. Bazzill card. The owl is from 'what a hoot' pp by Kaiser and the leaves are from We R memory keepers, fiddle faddle. Please excuse wonky photo - I'm still learning how to do all these technological things! The paper ...	happy_camper.jpgHappy CamperI was inspired by the gorgeous bright colours in the Matisse painting and also the brushstrokes he used. I used some tissue paper that I found lining a shoe box for the background, sass lass pp, petaloo and Bazzill flowers, Prima pearls, lace, BG alphas and brads, painted brushstrokes around the edge and some paint on the flowers.9 comments10/17/10 at 20:25Vicki: Wow!
