This photo was taken just before she died - all the family were called to say goodbye to her and she passed soon after from cancer (refused normal treatment and instead stuck to her cigarettes and port - lol)

Even back in the days of the depression and WW2, Mum said that anyone was welcome to come for dinner and she always stretched the meal that bit further.
