You_Me_Us.jpgYou Me UsMy take on the sketch. I had a go at Gabrielle Pollacco's faux stones ( http://gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com/2010/01/tutorial-how-to-make-faux-polished.html ). PP is Kaiser, bird is Prima & I made the flowers myself as well. TFL

pout_28Medium29.jpgMy August Colour Challenge....the cardstock is Bazzill and it is actually cream although it looks quite white in the pic. PP is MME and Websters, flourish is a cut from Home Decor Cricut cart. My flowers are my handmade things! I made two on the flower loom, two with my yoyo makers and just cut the other out of scrap fabric. Title is Thickers and I have used glimmer mist and ink.
TFL:)

Not too sure if my handmade cut outs are what was required but anyhooo.....I made a simple stamped tag to go under the title, cut up an enlarged photo of the bottle lable and used that as embellies and cut out tiny squares and doodled on them to fill in the gaps lol. tfl10 comments08/22/10 at 07:43beccyb: Looks fantastic Deb!! August_CC-bowerbird_chall_.JPGFord Falcon in the mid 1960'sLuv'd this chall. but didn't quite go to plan. Scalloped edge - check. 1 button-check. 6 brads-check. 2 or more circles - check.
4 pp's - well there is 4 but used the reverse of 1 so does that make it 5? red-check. 1 number - well I think 1960 is 4 but I needed to put that. 2 diff. alphas - actually I have 3 (the little "s" on the end of the 1960 just had to be there). 1 handmade embellie - well 1 of Bec's little flowers from the blind scrap just didn't look right so I made another. lol tfl
