103_2463.jpgIt's TimeI was inspired by the blue and the idea of leaving/flying away (like a butterfly).
I journaled around the edges AND on the journaling card. Around the edges there are some Brad Paisley lyrics about changing and leaving and stuff like that then i've written "I've done a LOT of changing in the last few months. The biggest is my eagerness to leave Cairns, my hometown. I never used to want to leave but now it seems like the only way to move forward in life. Ben & I are both really ready to leave......8 comments04/17/10 at 11:24Scoutannie: Lovely Maria!

for-the-love-of-colour.jpgFor the Love of ColourI created the background out of all those manufacturer's name strips down the bottom of patterned papers. (Including a couple from Cosmo's Nutmeg range - to incorporate the woodgrain pattern!) Then I gave it a thin coat of gesso to dull it down a touch and bring a bit more cohesion.
My journaling says "I dressed you in these brightly coloured onesies when you were first born, but they were size 0000 and you were such a big baby who had no trouble growing so they barely lasted you 2 weeks.
