DSC02494.JPGFamily MemoriesChocolate, Kraft, Olive and Rain. What a great colour combo. Kaisers Duchess collection has been used. I have recycled some old lace using a distressing spray in olive green. The frill around the Chocolate circle has been done with a border punch then run through a paper crimper to get the folds to make it easy to go around the curve.7 comments03/29/10 at 20:09nati05: oh how beautiful

The_Guys_-_Therapy_Journalling_-_March_2010_(Medium).jpgMarch Journalling - "The Guys"I switched up my interpretation of "journalling around the page" + journalled around the PP and photo as it seemed to suit better. I started this page to be for the sketch challenge for the CC last weekend, but didnt see the bit about it being green and by then even though I hadnt stuck it down I loved it so thought i'd make it work for something else!!!

minidancingqueen1.jpg(Mini) Dancing QueenI was in the mood to try and few things I don't normally do (like cutting around the object in photos and stitching on my layout) and I used papers that I wouldnt normally use together so this layout's a bit different which I like! It was great to use up some scraps of paper I had for the strips and rather than opening a new set of thickers I just used up a couple of different styles I had! The photo is of my cute little cousin Katie, taken while she was dancing at mum's wedding last year.
