DSC02494.JPGFamily MemoriesChocolate, Kraft, Olive and Rain. What a great colour combo. Kaisers Duchess collection has been used. I have recycled some old lace using a distressing spray in olive green. The frill around the Chocolate circle has been done with a border punch then run through a paper crimper to get the folds to make it easy to go around the curve.7 comments03/27/10 at 15:30Vicki: Wow, gorgeous LO! Love the crimped circle

Revamp_challenge_ST__(After).jpg5 years agoThis is my take on Bec's challenge to recreate a LO using a fav photo. This photo was taken 5 years ago (as scrapped below in 2005). The photo was taken before I had a digital camera so I scanned the photo from the LO and cropped it (as I normally do to take out some unwanted b/ground). I have left the original LO as it is as it was part of a double LO (eeek) so didn't want to replace one page. I've now done a new LO to put in my DD's current album.

In_the_Middle.jpgIn the Middle - CC 1 ThemeI have used the inside of a pizza box in the background and also the twine my order was wrapped in on this layout.
I have also inked, sanded and distressed.
Thanks

ST_monthly_journalling_chall__Mar10.JPGSweet....My take on the journalling challenge this month. Basically just used a white cardstock base, added some gingham and turquoise paint around the edge and brushed over the fabric. Used up one of the many paper doilies I have and some flower stickers that have been sitting in my stash for awhile. tfl. 6 comments03/26/10 at 20:40pitt: Very effective Deb love how you have journalled gr...

auntsanduncles.jpgAunts and UnclesI can't photograph straight for the life of me today so excuse the carpet in the background! The journalling around the edges is a lot more visible in reality but again it's not coming up too well in the photo, it's basically just saying that I love my aunts and uncles and am lucky to have them all in my life! Finally used up some of the brown and blue bits and pieces I've had lying around for a while!5 comments03/26/10 at 20:39pitt: Great take on the challenge love the photos!!

DSC_0005_edited-1.jpgLoved by 1 and allThese are some of the funnier photos from the wedding. I used DCWV paper and c/s which I had for a class I ran at school, ribbon left over fron some cushions I bought and thickers.3 comments03/26/10 at 20:38pitt: Just love that bow the colors are also very beauti...

tøyse.jpg"Matheus ta brille meg!" ("Matheus, take my picture!")My eight year old son has taken the photos in this layout. And the journaling is telling the story about our "everyday photo session". The paper from "Cherry Arte" has been laying around here for many months, with too much color to fit anything. Today i found the perfect photos, not in my own camera, but in my sons. ;)4 comments03/26/10 at 20:37pitt: This is so much fun well done on the challenge and...
