budapestdancingqueen2.jpgNov CC Inspiration - Budapest Dancing QueenThis is my take on the pitcure. I have BG Nook and Pantry red paper as the base and the pitcures like the buildings. The stampede is my niece twirling around in a stampede!6 comments11/10/09 at 18:22scrappinallie: Fabulous Ronnie! I totally love how you have done ...
always_and_forever.JPGAlways and ForeverIve used BG Bittersweet for this one, my 3 stamps are the 2 clocks that are on top of each other in the centre of my flower and the top RHS corner piece. Don_t_Blink.JPGDon't BlinkThanks for a great sketch Jen! When I think "Stampede" I think of cattle, cowboys & country music so I've used the lyrics from a Kenny Chesney song for my title & journalling. TFL!8 comments11/10/09 at 09:00ceelicious: Looks great Vicki!

Muriel_031.JPGStitches of LoveI took my inspiration from the colours of the flags [teal & red] and the buildings [sandstone and brown]. I used CS which I sanded, distressed, inked and stamped. I tea dyed the lace stitched the title and handmade the journaling card. The photo is of my friend Gloria and her little brother taken in 1950 when Gloria was 3 yo. The children's clothes [parachute silk] were sewn and hand embroidered by their Mother, Dorothy Rowena Woods. Stitched with love.6 comments11/10/09 at 08:51ceelicious: Wow...so clever...lovely!
DAD.jpgLove Letters From RomeMy inspiration came from the buildings,& the Stampede is WW2.
These 4 postcards all have love letters from my Dad to my Mum. He was stationed in Italy in the war & they were married just before he left.I used the bright contrast because each letter contained some hints of hope for a future.
Appart from the CS the other papers & tags came from Paper Pizzaz. The rest is from stash.8 comments11/10/09 at 08:47ceelicious: This is brilliant...well done. Such a moving colle...
