kids_at_heart.jpg
kids_at_heart.jpgKids at HeartThis Sketch challenge really pushed me. BG paper
stamping techniques 1. painted the pink leaf emb and then picked parsley from the garden and used it to stamp a pattern on the emb - It really worked well. I then used papertowl and inked it onto the cream CS for backing and used 3 cut ribbon flowers to create the pattern on the bottom of the blue CS mount.
I also tried Alli's paper curling tech for one of the emb.
It was great fun to do this page and tested me for creative ideas for stamps

CC_Theme_Challenge.JPG
CC_Theme_Challenge.JPGCC Theme ChallengeI have gone with the 'STAMP' part of stampede for this one. The three different stamps include some 'StampinUp', some 'Grace Taylor' and an 'Unknown' one I've had for ages. The materials I've used include KC PP, The Scrapbook Lady LaserCuts, KC Felt Flower, Prima Flowers, KC Rhinestones and Pearls, glitter (on the butterflys), Cre8tive Leaves, ribbons and brads from stash. 8 comments11/08/09 at 21:06outbackscrappinAussie: Awww lovely idea with the stamps and the crystals!...

Don_t_Blink.JPGDon't BlinkThanks for a great sketch Jen! When I think "Stampede" I think of cattle, cowboys & country music so I've used the lyrics from a Kenny Chesney song for my title & journalling. run_away_with_me.jpg
run_away_with_me.jpgRun away with meStampede theme inspired me to scrap my wedding day, as the bridal party was literally running to catch the city cat from the botanical gardens where we got photos to the Regatta for the reception!
The paper I used in this scrap was BG Romani Pooro. KC emblishments. Stamping tech. 1 stamp that I own on the bottom of the page in blue. 2 inked paper kitchen towel to blotch the mounting CS. 3 I cut 3 ribbon flowers, mounted them using thick foam DS tape and used ink to create the pattern on cream CS!
